Part of the ornate world of Moscow's metro system, large brass statues stare down on travellers on Moscow's Ploshchad Revolyutsii station. Designed under Stalin's orders to be "Palaces under the ground", much remains of the dictator's lasting legacy seen by millions of Muscovites every day as they travel through ornate stations more akin to art galleries than a public transport system
