Just to the west of the iconic Nash Point headland lies the fabulous Dunraven Bay – a gemstone of the Glamorgan Heritage Coast in South Wales. While Dunraven Bay itself is a great location for photography, there is a second beach just over the headland that rarely has anyone on it (due largely to the fact that it’s a bit of a walk from the car park at Dunraven, but mainly I suspect to a particularly steep descent from the cliff top that can be a bit tricky in the wet or if carrying a backpack full of camera equipment(!).The beach is one of the largest in Glamorgan, but despite the fact I went there straight from work and the Dunraven car park itself was full to overflowing, I had the entire beach to myself with only a few dog walkers on the clifftop itself to be seen
